Ahh London what to say about you....well the history oh the history. We saw, we took pictures, we had some beer. I think I was expecting more out of the place but to be fair we were only there for 1 night. During the day one of the days Katie and I went to the shopping area, by Oxford Circus. That was amazing. We shopped and bought dresses at Top Shop! Then we ate at this delicious noodle place (thanks to a friend's recommendation.)
Yay Munich! Yay Beer! Yay German Food! Ok so this was a blast prepare to be bombarded by photos my loyal followers. Bavaria is by far my favorite place in Germany. I loved the history, the buildings, the people, and obviously the beer. We took a walking tour of the city and learned a lot. We also went on a beer garden crawl and they even took us to the grounds for Oktoberfest! Joy of Joys! Nest time I visit I must be there for the event.
ps. Note the glockenspiel.
This was so exciting. I had a greta time drinking the beer from the keg in the bar!!! I played fair and I had Nocturnum and Tremens! Yum-o, to take one from Rachel! This indeed helped Katie and I enjoy our waffles a bit more I have to say. The bar was very big and decorated in an amazing way.
Ok so I bought work shoes but the drama was huge!! It took a month and 2 weeks to get to the store. The woman calls me frantically in Europe to tell me they arrived, but at the wrong store. She then has then shipped to my store and it takes another week! All for stupid ugly work clogs.
I went to Philly in Sept. 09 to visit my dear friend Nathan and it was lovely. I was only there for 2 days and yet I managed to enjoy myself. I tried a cheesesteak. It was everything I thought it would be. Steak, mushrooms, onions, and jalapenos smothered in cheese whiz. All on a roll. Yum yum! I also took in the sites. The Liberty Bell, Independence Hall, the Mint....etc. All in all nice place to visit.
